IPL Treatments

Revitalize Your Skin

Our IPL treatments target skin concerns such as pigmentation, redness, acne, and signs of aging.

This non-invasive therapy rejuvenates your skin, leaving it smoother, clearer, and more radiant.

How It Works

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology delivers broad-spectrum light to the skin. We select specific wavelengths to address skin concerns such as discoloration, vascular lesions, and textural issues. It’s a versatile solution for overall skin rejuvenation.

Benefits

  • Treatment of pigmentation and redness.

  • Improves skin tone and texture.

  • Treats acne and boosts collagen.

  • Non-invasive with minimal downtime.

  • IPL is ideal for patients with rosacea, pigmentation, general redness or red blood vessels, acne, or dull skin seeking a brighter and more even complexion.

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including self tanners) for at least 2 weeks before your appointment. Discontinue retinol or exfoliating products 2 days prior.

  • Typically, 4-6 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart deliver optimal results.
Ongoing maintenance sessions may be required.

These are average requirements and individual results do vary.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure, apply sunscreen daily, and use a gentle skincare routine. Redness or mild swelling may occur but typically resolves within a day or two.

  • Our IPL has inbuilt cooling which helps this be a comfortable procedure for most. You may feel flicking sensation (like a rubber band being flicked), and warmth. Most of our patients are pleasantly surprised how comfortable this treatment is.

  • IPL and BBL are both non laser light sources and are both very effective for what they are used for.

BBL uses tighter control and precision and is a newer technology, this often makes it a more costly procedure. This precision gives good safety profiles but limits its versatility to adjust settings and parameters for specific indications.

IPL offers greater versatility which makes it advantageous in treating a wider range of indications. Current evidence shows better outcomes for treatment of some conditions with IPL, including Rosacea, Vascular lesions and inflammatory skin diseases.

Each of these services is delivered with care and expertise at our clinic.
